Creating and Editing Precedents in LEAP Mobile

Learn how to access and create your precedents with ease in LEAP Mobile. Create, edit, and save precedents directly within your matter's Correspondence tab.

You must have an active Microsoft Office 365 account to use this feature.

  • iPad

Create a New Precedent

 

  1. Open the matter.

  2. Swipe to or tap the Correspondence tab.

  3. Tap > Forms & Precedents.

  4. Tap User-added image in the top-right hand corner to select a different matter type.

  5. Find and select the precedent you want to create.

    The precedent will open in Word.

    Sign into your Microsoft Office 365 account, if prompted.

  6. Tap User-added image in the top-left hand corner of the precedent to save it.

    The precedent will be saved in the matter under the Correspondence tab.

Edit an Existing Precedent

 

  1. Open the matter.

  2. Swipe to or tap the Correspondence tab.

  3. Open the precedent.

  4. Tap Open in Word.

  5. Tap Open in Word.

    The precedent will open in Word.

    Sign into your Microsoft Office 365 account, if prompted.

  6. Tap User-added image in the top-left hand corner of the precedent to save it after editing.
