Based client feedback, LEAP has consolidated the Business and Business Structure areas of law into one streamlined area of law: Business. Within the Business area of law, there are three folders for matter types to sit in: Business Structure, Commercial, and Corporate. We have also revamped the list of matter types now available.
LEAP has developed a range of AI Prompts to assist with legal drafting in litigation and family law matters in Ontario. Additionally, a curated selection of family law AI Prompts is available in British Columbia. These prompts can be found in the Divorce & Separation, Civil Litigation, Small Claims, and Personal Injury folders under Forms & Precedents.
Powered by Matter AI, the AI Prompts help save time by generating the first draft of commonly used legal documents, such as affidavits for common motion. When a Prompt document is opened, Matter AI for Word pulls relevant data from the associated matter to generate a first draft. Users can then review and edit the content to suit their needs and copy it over to the desired legal form.

LEAP has added the Federal Litigation matter type for all provinces. New tables, fields, and dates have been added. It can be found under the Litigation category.
LEAP has added a new feature to Form 57A Bill of Costs for Ontario litigation matter types. Users can now add up to 10 staff members on the Statement of Experience on Form 57A.
