Click the LEAP Menu > Accounting > under General > Search Transactions.

Select a transaction type, such as Adjustments, from the list on the left-hand side.

Nominate the period of your search.

Select the appropriate period from the drop-down list of options or select the date range in the appropriate to and from fields.

You can also enter an Amount to search for.

Enter a Transaction Number or Description in the Search For field then click Search to narrow your search.

You can sort your results, by clicking the column headings to reorder the list in ascending or descending order.

Click print button on the toolbar to print your search results.

Open a transaction to view it.

Search Transactions window in LEAP allows you to efficiently locate the matter associated with a specific invoice number and access important details, such as the staff member who finalized the transaction. This process simplifies tracking down the matter tied to an invoice, even if you only have the invoice number. If an invoice is not found within a specific matter, it can be retrieved using this search function.This process helps in quickly locating assigned invoices and matters, reviewing related transaction details, and optimizing your accounting process.
