Displays all invoices on matters that have been assigned to any of the selected Billing Categories.

• All Billing Categories are included by default.  

Includes the following four filters, which work together to refine matters. Only matters that meet all selected staff criteria in their specified roles will be included. 

• Include Inactive Staff: Provides an option to either include or exclude Inactive Staff Members from the lists of Staff Responsible, Staff Acting, and Staff Assisting.

NOTE:

• • A Staff member is considered Inactive if their Current Staff Member option is togged off under the Access & Permissions in the Staff Details window. 
  • The below three staff lists dynamically update based on the Include Inactive Staff option setting.
• Staff Responsible: Filters results to include only matters where the selected staff member(s) are assigned as the Person Responsible. All staff members are included by default.
• Staff Acting: Filters results to include only matters where the selected staff member(s) are assigned as the Person Acting. All staff members are included by default.
• Staff Assisting: Filters results to include only matters where the selected staff member(s) are assigned as the Person Assisting. All staff members are included by default.

Includes the following invoice-related filters: 

• Outstanding Invoices Only: 
  • No: This filter has no effect. 
  • Yes: Only includes invoices that have not been fully paid. 

NOTE: The determination of whether an invoice is outstanding is solely based on its current balance, regardless of the relevant payment received application date or whether the invoice was outstanding at the End Date.

• Discounted/Adjusted Invoices Only: 
  • No: This filter has no effect. 
  • Yes: Only includes finalized invoices that have been adjusted. 

NOTE: The determination of whether an invoice is an discounted/adjusted invoice is solely based on its current status. 

• Invoice Status: Select All invoice statuses or limit the results to certain status(es):
  • All Selected
  • Draft Unapproved
  • Draft Approved
  • Printed Sent (Final)

• Include reversals of invoices transacted outside of date range
  • No: This filter has no effect. 
  • Yes: Include or exclude reversals of invoices transacted outside the date range.
    
    NOTE: For example, if you choose to include reversals of invoices transacted outside the date range, and the Start Date and End Date are set to 01/09/2023 and 01/10/2023 respectively, the report will include the reversal of an invoice dated 01/08/2023 (which is outside the specified date range), provided that the reversal date itself falls within the specified range (e.g., 10/09/2023).

Includes three display options:

• Group By: Group the results by one of the following criteria: 
  • None
  • Billing Category
  • Client
  • Debtor
  • Introducing Lawyer
  • Matter Number
  • Matter Type
  • Staff Acting
  • Staff Assisting
  • Staff Responsible
• Display Staff Initials for: 
  • None
  • Staff Responsible
  • Staff Acting
  • Staff Assisting
  • Introducing Lawyer
• Expand Row Groups: This option is only active when the Group By option is not set to None. 
  • No: Only display summary of each group. 
  • Yes: Display individual invoices under the group row. 

Displays:

• The Deleted Date of a draft invoice (e.g., "D: 09/09/2023"). 

NOTE: The report will include a deleted draft invoice only if it was created within the specified date range and deleted after the End Date. If both the Invoice Date and the Deletion Date fall within the specified date range, the draft invoice will simply not appear. However, even a deleted draft invoice is displayed in the report, it will not have an associated amount, thus having no impact on the figures within the report. 

• Or the Reversal Date of a reversed invoice (e.g., "R: 09/09/2023"), only relevant to finalized invoices. 

Displays the relevant staff member's initials based on your choice in the Displays the initials for option. 

The column header is named as follows: 

• Staff Responsible if your selection is Staff Responsible;
• Staff Acting if your selection is Staff Acting;
• Introducing Lawyer If your selection is Introducing Lawyer;
• Staff Assisting if your selection is Staff Assisting.

Any discounts or adjustment applied against the invoice (inclusive of tax), only relevant to finalized invoices.
