Faxing Documents from Your Matter

LEAP integrates with online Email Fax Providers. If you have registered with an Email Fax Provider, you can send emails directly from a matter that will be received as a fax by the recipient.

Getting Started

 

Before you can fax documents to your clients from a matter, you'll need to add an Email Fax Provider domain to LEAP.

Sending a Fax to Your Client From a Matter

 

  1. Open the matter.

  2. Make sure you're on the Details & Correspondence tab.

  3. Right-click the document you wish to fax and select Share > Fax.

  4. Select the recipient from the list and click OK.

    A new email will open in Microsoft Outlook.

  5. Your document will appear as an attachment on the new email, with your Email Fax provider domain immediately after the recipient's fax number in the To field.

  6. Click Send.
