Setting Payment/Expense Limits for Your Staff

How To

There may be staff that you may wish to limit the value of General Account Expenses Paid and Trust Payments Paid. Within LEAP, you can specify a limit for each staff member. Should your staff member exceed to limit of the payment/expense, they will be automatically prompted to create a Payment/Expense Request.

Desktop: Click the LEAP Menu > Settings > Application Settings.

The LEAP Application Settings will open in a new window.

Web: Click > Settings > Application Settings.

The LEAP Application Settings will open in a new window.

General Account

Click Firm > under Staff > Members.

A list of your existing staff will display.
Click on a staff member you wish to set the limit.
Click the Access & Permissions tab.
Click Edit security details.

You will be redirected to the Staff Security page.
Click the General Account Transactions tab.
Enter the Payment Limit amount.
Click Save.

Trust Account

Click Firm > under Staff > Members.

A list of your existing staff will display.
Click on a staff member you wish to set the limit.
Click the Access & Permissions tab.
Click Edit security details.

You will be redirected to the Staff Security page.
Click the General Trust tab.
Enter the Payment Limit amount.
Click Save.
