I would like to know this too. The closest I get is to create a special rate, assign to ALL, and set to STAFF RATE "A" (for ex) but I don't know how to simply set the usual "A" rate to apply to a matter, and this seems like it should exist given that there are multiple rate levels for the lawyers.
